Wi-Fi, complimentary entertainment, complimentary live TV and complimentary Apple Music Since today ( the time this report was written ), I have flown the American A319 18 times and on all of those occasions it was a pmUS A319 and trying the LAA A319 is also on my bucket list before they are refurbished.Īnd after a taxi of 5-10 minutes, we were on our way to Washington Reagan National AirportĪt that time, it was the moment to look what is being offered at the Personal Device Entertainment system. One of the LAA A319's, N3014R, was passing by, which was going to operate a very short flight to San Antonio that afternoon. This time, it's an American A321 operating as AA2337 to Columbus, OH after a delay more than an hour Despite both DFW and SFO not being Frontier hubs, it looks like they are flying this route to compete with United and American. View from the wing while boarding was going onīoarding was completed on time and then the cabin crew started their takeoff preparations.Īt that time, this Frontier A320neo heading to San Francisco became visible. In my opinion, row 17 is the best row to sit on an American 737-800 in the Main Cabin and despite booking this flight about 2 days before departure, I was able to get this seat.īy the way, the seat was equipped with a USB port located next to the phone/tablet holder and a power outlet under the seat. I have boarded with Group 2 and while making my way to the aircraft, I took the fuselage shot below.ĪA 2907 DALLAS FORT WORTH AIRPORT TO WASHINGTON REAGAN AIRPORTĪfter being welcomed by the crew, I have headed to my seat 17A which was located at the second overwing emergency exit row of the aircraft. It would have been my first time on this specific airframe.Īnother shot of N834NN, this time from a wider angleĭespite the chaotic boarding process at Austin that morning, boarding for this flight was very smooth, on time and with the respect of group numbers with friendly gate agents. N834NN was there waiting for us to board at that time. Which eventually ended to be the gate at the end of the concourse with no gate A1 to A7. I have no idea where gate A1 to A7 is located but after disembarking the Skylink I have followed the signs to my gate A8. The Skylink ride was smooth and took about 5 minutes. ![]() ![]() Since my flight was departing from Terminal A, Gate A8 I have used the Skylink to go to Terminal A rather than walking which would have taken 10-15 minutes. The lounge has a great variety of food compared to a US lounge, however, desserts are limited to mini cakes.įor the remainder of the time, I have worked on my laptop.Īlso in the picture below, the business corner of the lounge could be seen. Since no proper meal would be served on my flight to Washington Reagan, I had my own three course dinner. ![]() There is also a small coffee and snack corner at the other side of the lounge but it is not photographed in this report. So, the lounge has a champagne and wine bar the main buffetĪ self-service coffee, tea, fountain drink, spirits & digestives barĪs well as a buffet which had similar offerings compared to my visit the previous day. Then, I have looked for a seat but since the lounge was pretty crowded, I was only able to find a pair of empty seats at the rear section of the lounge. I also thought about going to the Plaza Premium Lounge at Terminal E for a change which I have access through my AMEX Platinum Card, however, I didn't want to waste another 10 minutes going there which would reduce my lunch and rest time.Īfter taking the elevator to level 5, I was welcomed by the lounge staff at the door and was offered a glass of champagne. ![]() That's why, I walked near gate D22 where the American Airlines Flagship Lounge is located. However, there was a queue due to the lounge being at capacity and that wouldn't move unless someone leaves the lounge. My first choice was to go visit the AMEX Centurion Lounge located at Terminal D.
